Willkommen in Fredericksburg!

This is the language we were greeted with this weekend.

On Saturday morning, we headed to Fredericksburg, about 4 hours northwest of us. It’s a quaint city in the Hill Country and is full of German heritage. The Hill Country is known for cute towns, wildflowers, bed and breakfast inns, and, naturally, it’s hills! The drive up was interesting, since we hadn't driven through that area of Texas. On the way there, we saw all kinds of animals including cattle, longhorn, a turtle crossing the highway, deer, buffalo, and even a camel! The bluebonnets and Indian paintbrush were also starting to bloom and made for pretty scenery.
