Sad
Marty is on a plane home right now. Sadness. He was an absolutely amazing help to us as we drove up here to Virginia and as we got the house into working order. He's a good painter and is a rock-star at putting together furniture. Both Brett and I enjoyed getting to have so much time with him! Now we are looking forward to next summer already when we'll see him next!

when are you going to visit marty?
not sure. next summer will be expensive because of the olympics, so we are thinking it'll have to be after that. maybe summer 09. or march 09. I don't know!
It should actually be realtively cheap if you don't go DURING the Olympics - and there are special fares for friends and families of M workers in Asia - shoot me an email with the dates you're thinking, and I'll see what I can find for you... Beijing was awesome (even without a much-missed brother to visit), so I hope you can get over there soon!
